Turnaround time

A question for the clinical florals.

When processing a leuk. specimen from an outside source, what is the
average time for a report to be sent out ?
We have a "sister" hospital where some of the clinicians seem to feel that
doing a full leukaemia phenotype takes no longer than running a simple CBC
!
Needless to say they know nothing whatsoever about flow.
I just thought I'd get a feel for the speed of the service we give as
compared to other providers.
There is no costing involved - this is a free service to all the hospitals
here in Oman.
