Immunohistochemistry Position (Virginia)

Dynamic immunohistochemistry lab has an opening for a histotechnology
supervisor. Our lab performs over 6k immunoperoxidase studies per
year including paraffin section, frozen section, immunoflourescence, and
DNA in-situ hybridization studies. Desirable applicants will need to be
able to work in a lab that is constantly trying new modalities and
developing new tests. Supervisory skills and knowledge of
immunohistochemistry theory and techniques is a must. Qualifications:
prefer HTL (ASCP) and immunohistochemistry registry exam; other
pathways can be accommodated if experience is documented.
Experience in image analysis, DNA ploidy techniques, in-situ
hybridization, flow cytometry or other molecular pathology techniques
would be beneficial. Competitive salary with excellent benefits in a
