You might consider switching around fluorochromes as you suggest. I have=

used PerCP-CD45 with PE-CD34 and various FITC antibodies to look at CD34+=

subpopulations, including FITC-CD38, with good results. The CD45 and 34
were from BD, and the FITC-CD38 was from Immunotech.
