Hi, I don't have any info on Calcein AM, but there is a very nice method
of measuring NK Activity by Flow cytometry using Propidium Iodide and 3,3
dioctadecycloxacarbocyanine (DiO). This method is described in the Journal
of Immunological Methods, 166:45-54, 1993 by Chang, et al. We use a very
similar method in our lab and it is quick, easy and accurate. Hope this
helps. Karla Gertis, UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill NC
