I've seen this problem too. It appears to be "electronic noise" coming
through your institution's electrical supply lines. We also consulted BDIS
and they could not help. They recommended a more expensive surge
suppressor/power strip, which we bought, but it did not help. Perhaps a
really good line tamer would help? Otherwise, setting a gate to ignore this
stuff or restarting acquisition seem to be the only current solutions. Hope
someone else has a better idea!
