ModFit LT TM

New Features in ModFit LT 2.0

  • Synchronized cell lines can be analyzed using a new Synchronization Wizard. This wizard guides users through the creation of a model and the analysis process for perturbed populations.
  • The Proliferation Wizard allows analysis of data from cell-tracking dyes.
  • Listmode gating graphics have been enhanced to support higher resolution and alternative color schemes. If gates are created, a gate graphic is automatically placed on the report. Re-gating is directly supported on the report gate graphic.
  • Configuration settings for G2/G1 ratio, standards, S-Phase shape, and the peak finder can be defined using the Configuration dialog box. This dialog is password protected to control the system's configuration.
  • Settings in the peak finder have been tuned to greatly improve the program's ability to identify small peaks.
  • The database format now uses the tab character to separate fields. Previously, a comma was used.
  • The database now prompts the user before writing a record, allowing you to decide whether or not to store the results in the database. This prompt is not displayed in batch analysis.
  • The Z_APOP keyword now works properly to display the apoptosis result. Gate keywords have been added.
  • The program now supports up to 2 standard (bead) peaks.
  • Model colors can be edited by the user and applied to all models or the current model only.
  • Debris modeling options now include modeling with no debris component.
  • The Fresh/Frozen debris component has been enhanced. In previous versions, the modeling and S-Phase assessment systems could prematurely shut down with some data files.
  • Aggregate modeling has been enhanced to provide substantially more accurate aggregate estimates.
  • There are now 3 aggregate modeling options: always model aggregates, never model aggregates, and auto-detect aggregates.
  • The status bar has been enhanced to display more information about program settings.
  • To improve range positioning, the histogram graphic is now disabled in "Range" view. This prevents the accidental selection of the histogram when attempting to position a range.
  • Range fitting routines have been revised to provide more robust estimates.
  • Keystrokes Ctrl N on the PC or Command N on the Mac have been corrected to perform the Get Next File function only; previously an automatic analysis and automatic report were generated.
  • When performing an analysis with the S-Phase Assessment active, a new prompt dialog is displayed to provide several choices if the cutoffs for the current tissue type have not been set.
  • The DI and RCS are now displayed on separate lines from other results.
  • Documentation has been revised, and many new sections have been added.
Pasting a PICT formatted graphic into ModFit LT for the Mac has been corrected. Pasted graphics can now be moved and resized.
  • Choosing File Print now displays a dialog which allows the printer settings to be adjusted. Clicking on the Print button on the toolbar bypasses this dialog.
  • S-Phase classification has been corrected. Previous versions rounded the S-Phase cutoffs to integer boundaries.
  • Flash comments for Mac/PowerMac version are now compatible with multi-byte versions of Apple OS (e.g. Kanji).
