I would occasionally see them with the LysisII setup as well. I suspect that
my problems are more along the line of "air bubbles" rather than crystals, as
all my staining and dilution buffers, as well as tissue culture media are
filtered through 0.2 micron filters before use. It is however somewhat
strange or at least serendipitous that these "air bubbles" have the same
forward scatter range as human lymphocytes. The BD service man seems to think
that it looks more like an intermitant communications problem between the
cytometer and the computer.
